Work really can be fun

Experimenting with science at Bayer Pittsburgh.

As part of “Take Your Child to Work Day,” kids from New Jersey to Kansas City showed up to work with their parents for a day at Bayer. Fortunately, for the kids, this was not just another day at the office. As a company whose mission is “Science For A Better Life,” Bayer made certain that the day was filled with interactive activities involving fitness, exploration, and experiments, all centered around science and innovation.

During the day-long activities, students conducted experiments that promoted science literacy; heard presentations from Bayer pharmacists, as well as employees who work in sales and women’s health; wrote letters to servicemen and servicewomen with members of BRAVE (Bayer Resource for Armed Forces Veteran Employees). A member of the New York Red Bulls soccer team, accompanied by the New York Red Bulls street team, participated in the day as well at our New Jersey headquarters.

The lesson of the day: going to work really can be fun!
